TACNA AQUIRES B&I

SAN DIEGO - (Business Wire) November 15, 2008 - TACNA International Corporation (TACNA), a manufacturing services provider, industrial products distributor and silicone hose and magnetic components manufacturer, today announced that it has acquired, in a series of transactions from secured lenders, the tangible and intangible assets of B&I Fender Trims, Inc. Additionally, the majority of B&I Fender Trims long term employees have agreed to join TACNA and its new “B&I” division.

B&I Fender Trims is a manufacturer of high quality automotive accessories, including; Premium Dash Trim Kits, Stainless Fender Trim, Replacement Wood & Leather Steering Wheels, Stainless Rocker Panels, Spoiler Wings and more. “Considering the capital constraints B&I Fender Trims has been working under, the quality of their product, workforce and technology is impressive,” said Ross Baldwin, President of TACNA.

TACNA plans to utilize the acquired assets and retained workforce to start production and begin shipping quality products immediately. “Moving forward, we plan to inject significant capital into B&I’s existing operations and use our strengths in areas, such as; optimizing delivery, improving quality and reducing costs,” said Baldwin.

Future plans, among others, include the launch of a new 3D-Molded Dash line, feature upgrades to our existing 2D-Dash line and an expansion into several other new product categories”, said Henry Rzeszotek, Director of Sales & Marketing.

The new B&I division of TACNA will be headquartered in San Diego with manufacturing in Mexico and a continued presence in New York and Canada.
