UpGrade Acquisition Letter to Customers

Dear Valued Customers:

You asked for it, you got it! We are excited to announce that on January 18, 2010, TACNA International Corporation (TACNA) acquired all assets of Rocklin, California based UpGrade Auto Products (“Upgrade”), a molded dash kit manufacturer. Upgrade is known for its quality products and extensive application depth, with over 365 molded applications dating back to 1995.

Upgrade will immediately be consolidated into TACNA’s B&I division. The move will begin January 25 and we plan to be fully operational by the week of February 15. All new B&I Molded Dash Kit schematics and installed photos will be uploaded to our website, after which point we will be ready to take your orders!

Much like the improvements realized with B&I since the acquisition over one year ago, TACNA will offer several revolutionary new features for the new molded line. For example, all molded dash kits will be offered in the same extensive synthetic finishes as our flat dash line. Also, a unique and proprietary process has been developed to reduce delivery times typical of molded dash kit production. On the development side, we plan to rapidly expand our new 3D line with the launch of some exclusive new models, starting with the 2009-2010 Dodge Ram, already under development and scheduled for release shortly after the transition is complete.

With our new molded dash line, B&I now has the largest interior trim product offering on the planet. Products include, Molded Dash Kits (over 425 applications), Real Wood & Synthetic Flat Dash Kits (over 3200 applications), Combo Dash Kits, Wood & Leather Wrapped Steering Wheels, Wood & Leather Wrapped Grab Handles and Custom Dipping (Hydrographics).

TACNA has been in business since 1984. In addition to the newly acquired UpGrade operations, TACNA owns two industrial and automotive parts manufacturers, an electronics components manufacturer, two industrial supply distribution companies and a manufacturing services business. TACNA and its affiliated companies employ over 1,250 people in the US, Canada and Mexico.

This bold move is just the beginning of several exciting announcements planned over the next several months. Our goal in 2010 is to help give you, our valued customers, an arsenal of competitive selling advantages to help capture and generate new sales.
